Earn Rewards for your Sustainable Commute
Pre-register for GoMoneyMiles
GoMoneyMiles rewards you for making better commute choices — like carpooling, riding transit, biking, walking, or working from home.
The less you drive alone, the more you can earn. It’s simple, convenient, and designed for busy commuters that live or work in San Bernardino County.
Pre-register for GoMoneyMilesDownload the GoMoneyMiles app and create your free account. Your information stays private — we never share individual commute details.
You will receive a per-mile incentive based on how much you reduce your driving to work, compared to a “baseline” auto trip. You can reduce your auto miles by taking transit, using a carpool, vanpool, cycling, working from home, etc.
You will need to drive to work at least three times in the first month to set your baseline before being able to redeem your incentive earned from driving fewer miles.
During your first few days using the app, GoMoneyMiles learns your normal commute pattern. This becomes your baseline.
There’s nothing you need to set or configure — the app captures this automatically in the background.
Carpool, transit, bike, walk, or telework — the app captures your commutes automatically.
You earn Visa e-gift cards directly through the program based on the number of miles you avoid driving your car to work.
No matter how you commute, there's a reward waiting. Pick the option that fits your day.

GoMoneyMiles is a rewards program that gives you Visa e-gift cards for choosing better ways to get to and from work – like carpooling, transit, biking, walking, or working from home. The less you drive alone, the more you can earn.
GoMoneyMiles is designed for commuters who live or work in San Bernardino County. Specific eligibility rules may apply based on where you live, work, and your type of commute.
You earn rewards by automatically recording eligible commutes in the GoMoneyMiles app. When you carpool, ride transit, bike, walk, or telework instead of driving alone, those commutes can count toward Visa e-gift card rewards.
The app uses your phone’s location and movement patterns to help identify commutes automatically so you don’t have to remember to do anything. You’ll always have control to review and confirm commutes within the app. Simply drive less. Earn more.
Eligible commutes generally include trips to work, made by carpool, transit, biking, walking, or telework. Recreational trips or out-of-area travel will not qualify. Visit our full Help Center for more details on eligible commutes.
Once you reach a reward threshold, you’ll receive a Visa e-gift card by email. You can use it anywhere Visa e-gift cards are accepted online.
No. There is no cost to join GoMoneyMiles or to earn rewards.
Unfortunately, the commute will not be counted as an eligible commute because the app will not be able to verify the trip. If you lose your phone, your account and rewards are still safe. Simply sign in on your new device with the same email or login information and your account will sync.
We use your commute data to calculate rewards and understand how people are traveling in general. We do not sell your personal information. Commute data is aggregated for reporting so individual commutes are not identifiable in public summaries. For full details, read our Privacy Policy.
No. Employers do not see your individual commute details. They may see aggregate employee participation information such as the number of participants or total collective commutes, but never your personal travel history.
No. You can participate as often as you like. The more qualifying commutes you take, the more rewards you can earn — but there is no requirement to commute a certain number of days.
You may not be able to cash out yet for one of the following reasons:
● You haven’t reached the minimum $10 reward balance.
● Your baseline hasn’t been fully established yet.
● You haven’t commuted to your physical workplace enough times in the past 30 days to verify eligibility.
Once these requirements are met, you’ll be able to redeem your rewards through the app.
If something doesn’t look right with your reward totals, start by checking your recent commutes in the app to make sure all eligible commute days were captured correctly.
If you still have questions, you can contact the Support Team and we’ll be happy to review your account.
